Hello everyone. I will keep this brief. The debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump was an absolute disaster for anyone who cares about clarity, truth, and integrity. Among the many factual errors made by both candidates, the conversation around abortion, in particular, made my stomach turn.
President Trump is right in fighting against the Democratic Party’s insistence on fighting for a “right” to abortion. And make no mistake, Vice President Harris was incorrect in stating that no one wants third trimester abortion availability. There is evidence of 1,000 third trimester abortions being done annually in the United States, alone. That being said, Trump is completely wrong in allowing for any exceptions to the right to life. The so-called “exceptions” of rape, incest, and life of the mother are all summarily dealt with by those with more education on the matter than me. But none of the solutions need include intentionally murdering a baby. There is no justifiable reason to murder an innocent human being. Period.
I don’t want to make this post long. I just wanted to share a great talk from a few years ago by one of the clearest philosophers alive: Dr. Peter Kreeft. Enjoy!
