The end of a dissertation, the beginning of the next chapter

Dear readers and listeners,

I’m grateful to share that I have successfully defended my dissertation and have been awarded the Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) from Pontifex University. The board passed the dissertation with commendation.

The project, Participatio Actuosa and the Paschal Mystery: Active Participation as Sacramental Incorporation into Christ’s Self-Offering, argues that active participation is best understood as the sacramental incorporation into Christ’s paschal self-offering, grounded by baptismal ontology, fulfilled and actualized in the Eucharist, and ordered towards deification.

I am thankful to my director and readers for their careful engagement, and to my family, colleagues, and students for their steady support throughout this process.

I look forward to continuing the work in writing and teaching.
