A note on subscriptions

Comp accounts expires tomorrow but content remains free!

Hello everyone,

A year ago, before the rebranding to Good Distinctions, I had experimented with offering paid-only content for “Will Wright Catholic”. At the time, I set the first 250 subscribers (at the time) as comped (free-of-charge “paid”) accounts for one year. That was on March 12, 2023. So, I am sure that automated emails will be coming from Substack soon.

I am not sure what sort of automated emails you all who have comped accounts will receive from Substack. But I wanted to take a moment to reiterate that the content at Good Distinctions will always be free to access! I made this decision a while ago and it will always be the policy! So, after the comp expires, please consider remaining a free subscriber to Good Distinctions (what I call an “affiliate” of Good Distinctions).

Or, if you are in the financial position to do so, please consider becoming a “member” of Good Distinctions - a paid subscriber. If you have appreciated the content that has been put out over the last year and want to see it continue, please sign up as a paid subscriber today! As a member, you have the ability on Substack to start threads in the channel for anyone to respond to, you also have first preference on suggesting topics, and you would have my undying appreciation!
